FIELD SERVICES
All of our experienced equine vets provide ambulatory care to clients' horses in the field, offering you complete continuity of care.
Catchment area
Our ambulatory service covers a wide area extending from Birmingham in the north, to Oxford in the south, from Worcester in the west to Northampton in the east. Routine services are covered by our zone-visit scheme.
Emergencies
We have an equine vet available to provide advice and attend emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. They are supported by our clinic veterinary and nursing team.
Yard services
We offer a full range of on-yard services, including healthchecks, routine and advanced veterinary dentistry and investigation of lameness or medical conditions.
Mobile equipment
Our up-to-date mobile diagnostic equipment enables us to perform x-rays, ultrasound and endoscopy at your premises.
ZONE VISITS
Our zone visit scheme allows you to receive free visits for routine, non-emergency work on pre-determined days. We have divided our catchment area into 4 main zones with one of our vets visiting each zone once a week. In addition, clients within a central zone will be able to receive free visits 4 days of the week, Tuesday to Friday.
By booking your routine appointment a minimum of 2 full working days in advance, you will be able to save on the cost of mileage and will only be charged for the work done. To qualify for zone visits your account must be up to date and you must pay for the work done at the time of the visit. The scheme is very popular and zone visits can get booked up several weeks in advance so we would encourage you to plan ahead for your routine work. Contact reception to book your zone visit and find out more.
This scheme offers you real value for money whilst maintaining the high quality of service you expect from Avonvale.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

I use Avonvale for most of my clients horses. We have used them for kissing spine, hock arthritis, scoping, numerous lameness workups, colics, they are a brilliant team, especially Claire Sawyer who is a very talented lameness vet, always friendly and professional. Couldn't recommend the dedicated team enough.
- Tanya B

After using a local vet for years we changed to Avonvale and cannot recommend them enough. Twice we have had a horse with colic and the response time and treatment has been amazing. Cannot thank them enough, they are a fantastic team of vets and we wouldn't use anyone else now.

OUR TEAM
Our veterinary and nursing teams have a vast amount of equine expertise and enthusiasm and are always available for advice. We are a large enough team to provide fully comprehensive out-of-hours cover, but small enough to offer a personalised service tailored to the needs of our individual clients and their horses.
